12³ is an unusual art project involving a relentless organizer, a furniture designer, a pioneering group of artists and a galley-as-playground. Each artist was given a chair and a cube to work on, and challenged to think of them as blank canvases. Individually, the pieces reflect each artist’s take on the challenge; together, they tell a short story of a time-specific cooperation. Trans-generational – from celebrated figures to the new generation of Iranian artists – the project reveals the creativity that emerges when art is looked at as a game.

Yesterday Came Suddenly (EN & FA) : The Drawings and installation by German Artist Sonya Schönberger is curated by Amirali Ghasemi, Tehran and it’s the 1st exhibition of a series of solo shows by international artists in Iran organized by parkingallery, in various galleries of Tehran.
The catalog is designed and published by NewBookz Studio: Sam Keshmir (Cover Illustration) & Shahab Tondar (Design), in 24 Pages,14 x 21 cm,b/w Offset and in Edition of 500, January 2010.

“Yesterday Came Suddenly” opens at Atbin Art Gallery, Tehran on Friday 29th of Jan, 2010.
The Drawings and installation by German Artist Sonya Schönberger is curated by Amirali Ghasemi, Tehran and it’s the 1st exhibition of a series of solo shows by international artists in Iran organized by parkingallery, in various galleries of Tehran. There is a small catalog will be launched in the occasion of the exhibition by newbookz, and a limited edition poster printed in silkscreen designed by Shahab Tondar.
The Exhibition will continue till feb 4th, 2010 , 5-9 pm. The artist herself will be present in the gallery at the opening. further info on the time and date of the artist talk  and presentation will be announced soon.

Atbin Art Gallery founded in 2000 in Tehran by an art lover family and is dedicated to supporting and introducing young artists and new talents.
